When you wake up in the morning and feel grateful. When you wake up at 3:12am and feel anxious. He is still God.

When you feel like you have everything under control. When you feel like the waves will pull you under. He is still God.

When you cheer for your neighbor who learns to ride their bike. When you judge your neighbor for how many times they’ve left their home. He is still God.

When you post the latest recipe. When you post the latest conspiracy theory. He is still God.

He sees you. He sees you in this valley. He will rescue you.

It may not look like the rescue that you want. But as you come to know Him, you will know the world fades. The world does not last forever. But His love, His truth, and His goodness last forever.

That is where He will rescue you. Let go of this world. Let go of the desire to control. Let Him rescue your soul and be with Him forever, making a wave of charity and love as you go.
