After two weeks in Texas {the first week with my family and the second week with Brian’s family}, the kids returned home.
They got off the plane and Julia looked as if she had aged 10 years in those two weeks…
The aunts had taken her shopping… cute shoes, cute jeans, cute top ~ and grandma had fixed her hair and lip gloss. She was stunning.
I hope with all my heart that we are that mother and daughter team that makes it through the teenage years.
There was a book I read when I was a teenager {I wish I could remember the title}… it was a series and the teenage daughter was so close to her mom. I always prayed that my daughter and I would have that same connection.
Say a little prayer for me ok? Sometimes I am too strict, too distracted, too busy and too worried about the wrong things…
{Julia, Nate, Grandpa Eschbach and good grillin’ times}
The kids came back from Texas so happy and full. Full of love and attention and stories.
To all our family in Texas… we love you so very much. Thank you for loving my babies. They’re fun, aren’t they?
Happy Monday Everyone!
