Thank you for all your support and excitement over the mystery countdown!

Today is the day. I am leaving my day job to be a dream chaser.

I am leaving 8-5 behind to be a lover of the light! (Mumford and Sons – Holla!)

Today, I am saying goodbye to dear friends.

Have I ever told you about Scottsdale, Arizona?

Brian and I were transferred here in June of 2008. He had begun commuting Monday through Thursday in January of that year.

Now, as I say goodbye, I have two offices that I will miss dearly.

These coworkers became friends.

I know, I know – you don’t have to be friends with the people you work with – but I can’t help it. There are some precious and wonderful people there, y’all.

That is what I am going to miss.

They put up with my cheesiness.

They let me drown them in free print-ables and plastic dinosaurs. They put up with me and my rose colored glasses.

I am so thankful.

They look past my inability to read emails completely (if it isn’t in the first five sentences, I may not read it). And they accept apologies in the form of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Life should be that easy, shouldn’t it?

To my Denton and Scottsdale teams, you hold a very special place in my heart. You always will. You went above and beyond and made our team great. You are hardworking and kind. You are dedicated and driven. You made me look good and for that – I cannot thank you enough. You have been the reason I come to work.

I love you all very much. Truly.

Thank you for supporting me and encouraging me on my journey.

The future hold amazing things for you – I just know it! If you ever need me, you know where to find me.
