The next morning we all said goodbye after breakfast in the hotel lobby.
The nephews {my sweet Nate the Great and my nephew Caden} decided to surprise the bride with flowers they had found from a misplaced bouquet.

We said most of our goodbyes and squeezed in just a little more Texas time.

Wonderful games of checkers with the grandparents at Cracker Barrel…

And then we headed over to the Great Outdoors with my parents just to spend some time having fun instead of being stuck at the airport.
Have you been to The Great Outdoors? It’s a store… an outdoor equipment store… but it might as well be an amusement park for 7 year old boys. There is a HUGE fish tank ~ where Catfish as big as a grown man’s arm swim up to the window… there is a general store ~ where the peanuts are roasted to smell like cinnamon perfection… and there is a shooting gallery / arcade.
Seriously. I won. It’s true. I won. I whooped them all. I got a 410. It means I know a little bit about shootin’ and you can’t take Texas out of this girl.
Have a perfect Friday.
Thank you for stopping by,
Kate
