Treasure, texture and encouragement all wrapped up in a sealed envelope.
Shame on those bills for cluttering our beautiful mailboxes. Wouldn’t it be nice to have one mailbox for letters and gifts ~ all the happy mail and another mailbox for bills and advertisements? (Be sure and say advertisements with a British accent, it fits much better with the post that way…) 🙂
I don’t think the post office would appreciate that, but it would be nice?
I suppose I could think of happy mail as the raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens… those little, delicious bursts that keep us going.
I am very fortunate that I have a few letter writing friends… correspondence soul mates.
It sends me reeling into a time where the lovely Austen sisters sat in their lovely yard under a very lovely table with perfect stationery and handwriting.

I have a challenge for you this week. Write a letter. Just one. Ten minutes ~ you will make someone’s day! Have a very happy Monday!
