Even the night before Christ’s own death, He called us friends. He comforted the disciples and prayed with them and for them.

This Holy Thursday I am humbled by His love. He gives and gives and gives. He is always looking for ways to be a servant, even the night before His own death.

Sweet baby J was an Altar Server for the first time tonight… (aka candle-bearer or acolyte).

Sweet baby N was chosen to represent the 1st graders and have his feet washed by Father Brian.

As J and N were both on the Altar, I was overwhelmed. True love. True servant-hood is never satisfied. Love continues to look for ways to pour itself out and give to others.
