Realizing that we only have two weeks of lazy summer days until school starts, we’ve jumped into our bucket list, making sure we’ve gotten everything checked off.
In downtown Phoenix, there is an adorable old soda fountain called MacAlpine’s Restaurant. It’s been around since 1928 and has the cutest antique shop attached. Ok – so maybe I put this one on the summer bucket list. It’s cute and quirky and delicious. The staff dresses up in 50’s outfits, and they are as sweet as can be.
Nate hasn’t had a haircut one time this summer. He is sporting his surfer boy look until he absolutely has to cut it for school. Don’t tell grandpa, but I kinda love it like this.
This summer is still dreamy. I can’t believe it is almost over. How on earth are we going to start waking up early again? One day I will sleep again, right?
What a fun thing to do with the kids. Nate is so handsome. They grow so fast.
