There are very few days that I have the honor of being the hero in the family.
That title proudly rests on Brian’s shoulders.
After singing the day before at the festival, we woke up in Dana Point and rushed to Disneyland. Our curtain call was at 10:15am.
There was absolutely no traffic. We made excellent time… so I offered a most brilliant idea.
The kids love to ride roller coasters.
Brian loves to ride roller coasters.
I absolutely cannot stand roller coasters.
I offered to drop them off so that they could beat the lines. They could ride before call time. I would park at the Annabella and walk over. After much protesting from Brian, I convinced them of my brilliant plan.
I had a quiet and lovely walk. I was able to stop and take pictures without being rushed.

At first, I was intimidated about walking down Main Street alone.
But then, the flowers and the happy smiling people everyone encapsulated me and I was whisked away into a lovely, precious ethereal state.
And my absolute aversion of roller coasters had a beautiful purpose… finally!
To be continued…

oooooo, the poppies are so beautiful!!!
How lovely to be on Main Street …… alone …..sigh ……
