On Nate’s Birthday, he called me outside.
All he wanted to do was play.
I was making dinner and he told me that he would rather just have sandwiches and play that have a fancy dinner.
I walked back to the kitchen, sighed and turned off the burners.
And I am so, so glad I did.
I’ll remember this day for a long time.
and he will NEVER forget it.
