For my sweet unborn child who was ushered into heaven tonight.

I learned I was pregnant with you right after we returned from a wonderful weekend at a lake in the Arizona high country. Your dad purchased a pregnancy test at the local Safeway and we went to eat Chinese food. When we checked out and they passed out the fortune cookies ~ you can imagine the giggles that started when they gave me two fortune cookies!

The test confirmed what we already knew.

A few days later we took a friend to lunch. You guessed it – Chinese food (your dad loves it and sometimes I am nice enough to give in) they gave me a fortune cookie with two cookies in one package.

Ha! I thought   Even the universe knows.

A few days ago the signs started… I knew deep inside that I was loosing you.

I prayed and wished and hoped.

But if there is one thing I am sure of… one thing I know ~ there is a plan.

You are safe and warm tonight. The angels are whispering your name into your ear. You are not in pain and you never knew any pain of this world. You are loved deeply and fully.

I can’t wait to learn your name.

I’ll see you one day.

Until then, I will miss you.
