I like making areas pretty.
When I have to spend a lot of time in a room, I love to make it something I will smile at.
I love taking little nooks and crannies and hiding beauty.

Because, why not? Right?
I have to walk into the pantry at least five times a day – if not 403.

As you turn around to walk out of the pantry and look up, you will see this beauty…
(I might be the only one in the house that is in love with this.)

This may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I think I’ve shared with you before that I’ve been accused of decorating “like a grandma”. (which, I personally find a compliment). When my kids are older, I want them to remember my home as a happy and pretty place – full of little corners that make you smile.

How do you want your home to be remembered? I’d love to hear!

id love it to be remembered as a place of llove 🙂
I love this. I am working on my pantry right now. I’m going to look for a few things to “hide” away in there.
Well, I might not be in your house, but I am in love with that deal up there!
I’m much the same way! I just like looking at pretty things. That’s why my broom has a ladybug pattern on it. 😉
Now don’t tell Katie, but I moved one of her labels in my pantry. She and Brian and BJ decided I needed to organize but in my first year of retirement I missed teaching so much, I just couldn’t get it together. So they did. no condemnation, just sweet love and an organized panty. Thanks guys.
Aw I love this idea! I decorate with a purpose, too, and I love to look at the bits and pieces that I treasure. And yeah, you do decorate like a Grandma, but hey, give it a few years… 😉 😉
LOL – it better be like 15 years! 🙂
