A few months ago, I had the privilege of 2nd shooting for Taylor Kalander. The entire experience was so incredible.

Taylor was photographing a gender reveal for the sweetest couple – Travis and Liz. They were relaxed and funny and included us in the celebration!

My job was just to stand back and capture her parents’ reactions to the reveal.

Liz was so sure it was going to be a boy – and surprise! – it’s a girl!

It was such an incredible joy to attend such a special memory for the family. As a photographer, I cannot believe what an honor it is to stand in the background and witness births, weddings, announcements, special glances, and memories made.

I am so thankful for photographer friends that let me learn their amazing ways. Taylor, I’ll 2nd shoot for you anytime!
