I’m pretty sure that someone read Riley the preschool manual last week.

On Wednesday, I found a perfectly straight line… of black sharpie… on walls that were just painted last month.

On Thursday, Julia found a pile of red hair… that he cut… from the very front of his hair… with his safety scissors. Don’t worry grandmas, it is barely noticeable.

It’s been a long time since I had a preschooler, but my goodness. I’m gonna need someone to go ahead and send wine over.

In other news, he loves his class. A little boy from down the street is in school with him and we hear stories about how sweet he is every day. I am hoping whoever is telling stories about Riley is telling the sweet ones, too. He is just going Tuesday / Thursday. Every other day he asks why he can’t go – so I’d say it is a success!

Thank you, Tia for the backpack – he loves it so much!

Thank you, Grandma Sweetie for the “uniform” – he loves that he has a uniform just like Julia and Nate. Thank you for coming to our rescue when he found out that he didn’t have a uniform. Mailing him special school clothes was genius.

  1. I remember some other children who drew flower gardens on my laundry room walls and all over the garage. Giant red flowers with green and black leaves and stems.
    The guilty shall remain nameless.
We finally painted the garage when we moved. I should have taken pictures.
