Tonight I wanted to make something simple and warm and fresh for my family.

I stopped at Smart & Final on the way home and purchased items from their #LaRomanella line.

I love product that I can add a few fresh ingredients to!

Cast of characters:

2 lbs. of ground beef

(you can substitute ground turkey if you are looking for a healthier option)

1/4 Yellow Pepper

1/4 Green Pepper

1 Beautiful Portobella Cap

1 Package #LaRomanella Organic Spaghetti

1 Jar #LaRomanella Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce

Am I the only person who thinks mushrooms are beautiful? Yes?

Oh, well. Ok, carry on.

I am one of those strange people who love the challenge of getting everything done at the same time. It’s like a secret game I play with myself.

Brown the ground beef in a skillet.

Heat up the water to boil for the spaghetti.

And in the third pot, add the pasta sauce on medium to start heating up.

Go ahead and preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Cut your pepper and the mushroom into long slices.

Drizzle olive oil and a little pepper over these and pop them in the oven for 15 minutes.

They add a wonderful fresh flavor to your dinner.

Drain your spaghetti. Layer on the spaghetti sauce, ground beef and mushrooms and peppers to fit even the pickiest eater.
