Grandma White’s Cornbread Recipe takes your regular box of cornbread mix and gives it a little something special. 

Grandma White always says

“When you are under attack and time are getting really tough, just remember that a blessing is just around the corner.”

She is my inspiration and a prayer warrior. I am so thankful that my husband and children have gotten to know her as I have. 

Traditions can seem small sometimes, but they are the things our children remember and pass on to their families. One of our traditions is Grandma White’s Cornbread.

Now- Jiffy Cornbread. They have made this mix since the 1930’s, so it’s definitely a classic. One Grandma White grew up with. 

It’s good, but it needs a little something extra. Grandma White’s recipe is simple, but it makes all the difference. 

 

Follow the instructions on the box.

Add 1/2 can of Del Monte Whole Kernel Corn

Add 1 generous teaspoon full of sour cream

Warm and yummy and comforting.
