So, how about a yummy weekend recipe to stir things up?!
You guys. These are so easy and so pretty.
They make a beautiful appetizer for any fall party or a delicious tailgating snack. Either way, they will be a huge hit!
You can easily hold them in one hand and they only took me about 10 minutes to make.
Little Sweet Peppers with Hummus Appetizers
Ingredients:
- A bag of little sweet peppers
- Container hummus (whatever flavor makes your heart sing)
- 1 bag of toasted pine nuts
Directions:
1. Cut the sweet peppers in half
2. Remove seeds
3. Using a spoon or other fancy device, add hummus to the pepper
4. Sprinkle with those delicious pine nuts
5. Add a little herbs to your plate if you feel like making it festive. If they are going to be eaten by a group of cheering football fans, you may skip the greenery and use it later for people who will appreciate your whimsical nature.
That’s it! Just a few minutes and you’re out of the kitchen enjoying your company.
