Summertime 2018 – The Outlaws (The Eschbach Side)

This summer, we braved the trip to Texas once again. This time, Brian asked if Sebastian, Nate, and I wanted to fly so that we could take just one car. I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me when I yelled ‘Yes’! It was so gracious of him and allowed me some extra squeezes with my grandmother.

But today, I’m telling you about Brian’s side. This year was his mom’s #21andnotcounting birthday. His sister, Laura, planned an amazing bucket list and surprise weekend with all of his siblings.

We started by surprising her at iFly. She did it! She went skydiving for her birthday! Most everyone joined her and had an incredible time!

(No, I didn’t join them. Someone had to watch the kids and take pictures… and you know… heights).

That afternoon, the adults headed to d’Vine Wine in Houston.

Oh. My. Word. The food was incredible.

We watched a slide show that Theresa had put together and had way too much fun talking and laughing. It’s a good thing we had a seperate room, because we were a little on the loud side.

My sister in law, Laura, created this picture. She had asked family and friends to choose words that described my Mother in Law. Then, Laura used my Mother in Law’s senior picture as the silhouette. She is so talented. It came out absolutely beautiful.

I really am blessed. My inlaws are kind and funny and gave birth to the best human being in the entire world. They love my children fiercely, they clean out my pantry, they fill my freezer with homemade taco soup, and their laughter is contagious.

I would also like to give a shout out to my brother in laws. Seriously. They are the coolest group of guys in the land and I’m so lucky to have them to put up with spend time with my inlaws.

The next day, Laura put on the perfect brunch. The kids had a blast just running around and playing together.

Mary Alice and my niece, Lily, are only 8 months apart. Watching them become friends is one of my absolute favorite things.

My nephews are a gift. Riley fits right in and has a gang to play with. These are his favorite days.

We love you all a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. We’ll see  you soon!
