Pizza. Not just any pizza, but wood fired, delicious, homemade pizza. You guys. I still dream of this pizza.

My dear friend, Wendy, is a cookbook author. I had the absolute honor of photographing some of her newest cookbook, Live Fire BBQ and Beyond.

Of course we had to have food to photograph, right? She generously invited the whole family to partake in an evening of great company and great food!

Not only is she an amazing cook, she is a kind and genuine friend.

For many years, she lead a blogging conference called, Blended Conference. I was her event photographer and took attendee head shots. We worked together beautifully and became fast friends.

She has always been supportive of my blogging and photography. And I love getting to cheer her on in her newest endeavor!

In her newest cookbook, she skillfully explains how to cook with open-flame. And you can absolutely trust me when I tell you that her recipes are amazing!
