So thankful today.

Thankful for an American Girl doll that will work for her Sacajawea project.

Thankful for Grandmothers who are patient and love to teach what they know.

Thankful for a very persistent daughter.

I’m sure Sacajawea has never looked better.

  1. What is Sacagawea?

  2. P.S. Please tell J that she is absolutely beautiful!!

  3. Great question! Sacagawea was an Indian Princess who helped Lewis and Clark on their famous expeditions.

  4. I am gonna need to see the completed Sacagawea. Fairly STAT

  5. My grandma taught me to sew doll clothes and to crochet. Those are skills I have continued to use as an adult, and every time I sit at her machine or pick up a hook, I remember how well she loved me. I’m so glad J gets to experience that!

  6. Heidi, I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture of the completed dress she sewed onto the doll! I’m going to take one as soon as the doll comes home from the project at school!

  7. When does she come home so we can see Miss Julias finished project.. I love it. Awesome work.

  8. Oh sewing… I need to teach my daughter so much.
