Sedona… {Kings Ransom Inn}

After seeing the Chapel of the Holy Cross, we went to check in to our hotel… Well ~ there are two King Ransom (one hotel and one inn, right next door to each other). When I came with Aimee, I stayed at the Hotel. It was affordable, beautiful and great memories.

I wanted to stay in the same place… because then we would make more great memories… right? Right. It’s the same reason I have ordered the popcorn shrimp every time at Red Lobster since I was seven. It is the same reason I drink a Chai Tea Latte every morning. It is the same reason Brian finds it completely entertaining to try and get me to try new things.

BUT, I made reservations, accidentally, at the other one. Oh no. (If you know me, you are shuddering inside). I don’t like for my plans to change. It’s true. I like predictability. I like plans. I like to know where I am and where I am going. Any last minute changes are enough to send me into a never ending spiral of pouting.

Never mind that my sweet husband put up with me through the ENTIRE 15 minute dilemma (I was sure it was more like two hours).

And of course, the inn was lovely. In fact, it was better than I could have ever expected. It was easier for my grandmother to get to her room with our new set up. (The other hotel is beautiful but much more hilly and rocky). AND they had a waffle maker present at the continental breakfast. Yes, I was the one hogging it for about fifteen minutes the next morning. (They also had Chai Tea and Whole Milk… see? it always works out, huh?!)

This was the view out our window at sunrise. How amazing is that?!

We had dinner here… oh my. I don’t even know where to start. It was incredible. The food, the service… everything.

Hollyhocks at sunset. Lovely.

Sweet dreams my dear friends… tomorrow is going to be lovely ~ I’m just sure of it!
