Skateboarding… not for the faint of heart…

Soaking in some afternoon sun… It has been rainy here ~ ever since I returned from Florida. The kids were suffering from some ‘coop-’em-ups’ (that’s what dad calls them).

So, I decided to take them straight to the skateboard park after school.

Clouds are not common around here… the sky is usually blue as far as the eye can see. Sometimes, it’s nice to see clouds. They look so lovely against the coarse mountains.

Anyways, back to my skateboarders…

They LOVE to go down into the pool. Honestly, it completely stresses me out. What if they get hurt in there? Sure, I could get in, but how on earth would I get out? Really people? Well, they have mastered the technique of getting out without my help…

So, I really can’t argue anymore can I? (It was a little ridiculous the first time I tried to help Nate out. He ran up, I wrapped my legs around him, laid down on the ground and swung him out ~ he was mortified, but I couldn’t stop laughing)

They look so small in there don’t they?

Excerpt from Psalm 62:  find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, i will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; POUR OUT YOUR HEARTS TO HIM, for he is our refuge

  1. I’d be a nervous wreck too. That’s dangerous! But it does look like lots of fun:) That picture of the sky was gorgeous. I love mountains. Wish we had a few around here.
