This was Riley’s first soccer season.
It was pretty adorable watching a herd of kindergarteners conglomerate around the soccer ball every Saturday morning. I kind of love sports at this age.
Julia was co-captain of the Volleyball team. We made awesome memories driving from here to kingdom come, with lots of Sonic runs in between.
It was most of the girls first year playing and they did amazing! Their coach was an absolute dream, which made all the difference in the world!
And Nate… last year as flag football. Tackle football starts next year.
This year he played a few different positions, but was most often defensive line. He loved it. The team has been together for three years and you can really tell how they are starting to guess each others next move.

Have three in sports taught me to have a lot of grace with myself. Yes, I want to be at every game. Yes, I want to know exactly what is going on. But it just wasn’t possible, since practices and games were often on the same times on the same days. I relied on other moms to cart and feed my kids everywhere. There were days I had all girls and days I had all boys. It was wonderful letting my kids join another family ever so often. I’m so thankful for our community of moms who treat my littles like their own.
