My Grandmother holds a very special place in my heart. I am so fortunate that she is still here with us and my husband and children have been able to have a relationship with her. She is our prayer warrior. She always points us back to Christ in a very sweet and personal way.

She is on a first name basis with Jesus. She talks to Him as she makes dinner and as she gets her mail. She asks Him to help every single person she knows. She has a notebook of birthdays and anniversaries and events and prayer requests. I never realized how precious this was until I learned that not everyone asks for His help in every moment.

My aunts came over and spent the day with us, too. They are so fun. There is always a lot of laughter and amazing food when everyone is together. The kids always love spending time at her house. They know there will be a candy bowl filled to the brim just waiting for them.

Since we stayed a few extra days, Nate, Sebastian, and I were fortunate enough to get some extra snuggles!

I love you grandma. I am so blessed by your words and your thoughtfulness. I am incredibly thankful that you showed me how much you love our Savior and that we can go to Him with anything. I don’t say it enough, but I’m so proud to be your granddaughter.
