On Memorial Day we drove down {or Up depending on how you are looking at the map} to Tortilla Flats, Arizona.

This was one of the most amazing drives… the views are incredible.

As we drove up the winding roads, we were transported to another time and place…

The meandering and winding forced us to slow down, to take our time.

As soon as we turned on to this road, we made a ‘no technology rule’. The kids weren’t thrilled at first, but Brian’s storytelling got the best of them and soon they were involved in their imagination…
