I can remember sitting on the floor in Jen’s room.

I was probably 14ish.

I can remember looking through her photo albums and loving learning about memories and happy times.

I can remember her mom calling up to us to see if we wanted ice cream.

I can remember giggling as we figured out what movie we were going to watch downstairs.

Tonight, I am smiling at the memories we are still making.

I am eating leftover cookie cake from Julia and Nate’s birthday party.

And food network is on in the background.

Times have changed, but I am still smiling ear to ear with memories from Jen.

Katie, the Koala and I took quite a few walks together when I was in Vienna, VA.
