We drove Brian’s parents to Payson – Arizona’s Rim Country.

Such a great drive… up the old Beeline Highway.

We watched a storm roll in from a distance – and a beautiful rainbow stayed with us the whole way. It was so tempting to crop the telephone lines out of the picture, but I decided to leave it so you could see what we saw 🙂

We drove over to Zane Grey’s Cabin and found Hollyhocks, a plant that grew in my Brian’s maternal’s grandmother’s garden. What a very special find! I love when the kids get to hear stories from generations past.
