I think Welcome to the World photography sessions might be my favorite.

I come the day after the birth and photograph siblings and grandparents meeting the newborn. I pay careful attention to the sweet glances between mom and baby and notice the special things about the day.

There is such an incredible sweetness. Being asked to enter into a special moment with the family at the hospital is absolutely humbling. Hiding in the corner to capture sweet moments and hearing the birth story leaves me smiling for days.

Lori and her mom made the cutest going home outfit for Dante. He had his very own little tuxedo and bow tie. It is so fun to see the hidden talents of the people you work with! I had no idea Lori could sew and create.
