• My parents woke me up with a beautiful aquamarine birthstone necklace, made by my aunt
• I walked on the beach, sipping starbucks with mom
• I sat next to my parents at the church they were married at in 1971
• I celebrated my grandfather’s 90th birthday, in the parlor at that same church
• I stood in my grandparent’s backyard and smiled at my children’s birdhouse
• I caught up with my lovely cousin K
• I rode on a plane with mom to go back home to AZ
• We had a layover in Dallas and ate at the airport Chili’s
• The men at the airport found out it was my birthday and gave us a free cart ride from terminal B to terminal D – hello?! whoop!!
• We had a free dessert at dinner ~ and the waitress DIDN’T know it was my birthday… she was just being nice because we were patient
