LOL!! I sympathize with this. Our elf makes his appearance on the day after Thanksgiving and I was frantic trying to find him in the backing boxes. I think maybe this year I need to put him in a better place. Of course, usually when I put something somewhere that I will remember–I forget!
I don’t want to buy one so I told Mackenzie we were going to do rag in the bag or sock on a box. 😀
