An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. Proverbs 12:25
I don’t know about you, but words are so huge to me.
If someone says something kind, I could smile for the whole day.
If someone tells me that I remind them of my mom, it makes my entire year!
However, if someone honks at me, gives me the stink eye, mutters something under their breath… I am wounded.
Think about your words today. Make them kind and gentle!

Always a great reminder, thanks friend.
Amen!!! And I saw this in action today. One friend said something to another friend and the result was tears. What was said was not meant to be hurtful in any way. In fact, the speaker was trying to offer support and help but the way the words were said did not come across as kind. And I know the listener in the situation dwelt on it all the rest of the day.
I concur! Love this post … we all need to practice it more 🙂
So true.
I never liked that “sticks and stones…” riddle
because I KNEW it wasn’t true.
Words are huge.
You are lovely, my friend!!
