I decided I wasn’t actually an author.

The proposal reviewers rejected my book proposal twice officially and a few times unofficially.

I am “just a blogger.” and I am ” just a contributor of a chapter of a book.” rolled around in my heart and in my head.

And then, one email ignited by heart with fire and reminded me I am His. He has given me gifts and talents that He wants me to use – regardless of what I think other people think of me. (Will I ever stop struggling with vanity?!).

“I love your prayer to Mary, Undoer of Knots from Cloud of Witnesses book. I carry the book with me to pray this prayer every day. I would love to have it printed on a card….” – Monica Darnell.

What?! Someone read the chapter? Her encouragement was a balm to my soul. A few weeks later, she followed up and let me know that her dear friend, Carole Lohmeier, created a printable PDF prayer card.

So friends, this is a gift from one of you to everyone. Thank you, Monica and Carole. This encouragement has opened the floodgates of gratefulness.

Mary, in her sweetness, continues to undo the knots in my heart – knots that I didn’t even realize where there. Let her love you, okay? Jesus, in His amazing generosity on the cross, gave us salvation, redemption, and His mother! Take Him up on that offer. Let her pray for you. Ask her to pray for you.
