Our new youth minister, Chris, rolled out the red carpet for the youth on their first shindig of the year.

Julia and Nate had a great time…

Chris had some of us pose as paparazzi and the kids asked for autographs as they walked the carpet.

Nate warmed up the red carpet while we waited for the teens to arrive.

Julia was a pro at asking for autographs!

Nate hung out with Bree {Hi! Bree}. Bree is one of my favorites. We sing together on Sunday mornings. She is the cutest, sweetest, spunkiest…. any who… come babysit, Bree, ok? Ok.

It was such a great idea! {Great job, Chris!}

The teens really got into it. The nervous laughter that walked through the door turned into friendly giggles…

{Hint ~ give teens something to joke about, put them all on the same playing field and instant friends are made}
